Bill Russ

Bill Russ is responsible for executing the protein design strategy at Evozyne. Bill has a long-standing interest in understanding the principles that underlie the structure and function of proteins. He brings expertise in both experimental and computational approaches, with a focus on understanding the design of naturally evolved proteins by using high-throughput screens and in vivo selection assays coupled with computational and statistical modeling. Bill was previously an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and holds a PhD in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University.
